Decision - Making Decision

Setiap hari kita membuat keputusan sama ada kita sedar atau tidak. Kadangkala keputusan yang kita buat merugikan atau mengecewakan kita dan kadangkala ia merupakan sesuatu yang kita inginkan.

Keputusan mungkin sesuatu yang mempunyai impak yang sangat besar terhadap diri kita dan masyarakat disekeliling kita dan ada kalanya keputusan itu hanyalah yang berkisar kepada diri kita sahaja.

I had been employed in various positions in Government Services. Throughout my working life I had to make decision with regard to work. As a subordinate answering to a superior there were times when my stand was unagreeable to my surperior. However, knowing that my decision was based on my belief that it was the best for the company, I have no regret.

Sometimes our decision is fatal - like choosing which coloured wire to cut, the red or the blue that would stop a ticking bomb from exploding. Still one cannot stop still, we have to decide to take action or not to take action. And yet what will happend will happend. I had once asked a very successful businessmen his secret to his success and the answer he gave me was 'gut fealings and a little bit of luck'.
What kind of an answer is that. Other Gurus said, weigh the pros and cons. Think of the consequences. I, being a diehard romantik, would follow my heart.
